Vajrapani’s Menu

Our trained chefs create balanced and delicious vegetarian meals. We use locally grown organic
produce when available and other high quality foods to offer you a menu designed to keep your
body strong and your mind uncluttered.
The menu varies daily and we do our best to keep most of our foods gluten and dairy free,
however not at all times. Meals are generally simple, healthy and nutritionally balanced to offer
you a supportive retreat experience.

For Group Retreats:
Breakfast: Oatmeal and other hot cereals, homemade granola, fresh fruits and dried fruit
compote, breads (gluten free options), dairy and nut butters, jams, milks (dairy-free options),
yogurt, and hardboiled eggs.
Lunch: Served hot from the kitchen, includes fresh vegetables, carbohydrates, and proteins.
Dinner: Served fresh, includes homemade soup, bread, cheeses, butters, salad and
a freshly baked surprise.

For Private Retreats:
Breakfast offerings are provided at the co-op fridge near the retreat cabins and include: Oats,
granola, fruit, yogurt, cheese, breads, nut butters, jams, butter, margarine and a variety of soy,
almond other milks.
Lunch and Dinner: Lunch is served hot with a primary entrée and salad (for example:
Mushroom Polenta, Bean Ragu, Spinach Salad and dressing) and a dinner soup and salad come
at the same time to be heated and eaten later. There are always other snacks offered in the co-

op fridge near the cabins.

Meal Schedule

For Group Retreats: Meal times vary because the teacher of each retreat individually sets them.
Generally, breakfast is around 7-8am, lunch 12pm, and dinner 6pm. The retreat schedule is often
posted in advance. See your particular retreat information page for exact times.
Private Retreats: Lunch and dinner are delivered (at the same time) between 12:15 pm and
12:45pm.
